the people who think heelys should be banned are idiots!!! i have got them myself.they don't make us fat but thin. a month ago i was 44 kgs,now,i'm 38!6 kgs in a month!hey i'm a 10 year old kid.they are so cool.death of heelys is a bad idea,they are invincible!!people throwing pencils will fall themselves,we have our safety gear!:D

Sorry but this is just my opinion... I first of all own a pair and I am 18 going on 19, some people may find that immature. :) I am on my first year of college, and these are the only shoes I wear. I have never seen an obese kid wearing these shoes, it takes a lot more then you think to wear and use these shoes. Probably the first week I had them I was soooo Sore because they take it out of you :). But after that they become supper fun, you can get around way fast. For the young and the young at heart they are a great toy. They have made me lose weight rather then gain, and its a fun way of doing it. I think heelys are the greatest invention to hit the earth, and they need to perfect them. But then again I can see where you come from, you think only lazy kids or ignorant kids would wear these just to piss (Excuse my french)people off. I can also see how you think it would make you fat, I mean your on wheels all the time haha. But what you don't understand is wearing these is 2 times harder then wearing roller skates. They build a ton of muscle and get you in shape, and that is coming from experience. Don't mean to bore you with a lifetime story but I use to be a little chubby and buying these shoes changed my life. Thought I was just say what was on my mind. We all have our opinions, and that was mine. I don't think they should kill these shoes, they are a fun toy for well almost all ages haha.

Maybe it's wrong of me, but when I see kids wearing those, I root for them to fall and crack their lazy little faces.

And by "root for" I mean "cause".
